ALL SESSIONS
My goal throughout all my sessions is that you and your loved ones enjoy the experience. I want you to feel relaxed and let go of any stress or worry that you may have previous to the session, and enjoy the truly special moment we are creating and capturing together.
Every session is different and I'm there to capture the loving bond between you and your loved ones. My sessions are a mixture of documentary and portraiture and as much as possible I will use natural light, however I do have back up lighting if necessary
We can do the session in your home or outdoors,however the weather and ages of children must be considered before deciding on location.
MATERNITY SESSION
This session can be done in your own home or a favourite location* and is about creating an heirloom for the generations that follow. A perfect opportunity to record the remarkable short-lived journey that pregnancy takes us on.Embrace this very special time when you and your child are as one.Its a way to celebrate you and the magnificent creation growing inside of you. This session can be whatever you want it to be!! The glamorous goddess, or jeans & t-shirt, as long as what you wear is going to accentuate your glorious bump. I'm here to give you advice and very happy to sit down and discuss beforehand. Maternity sessions are best done between 28-36 weeks.
NEWBORN SESSION
This session is all about the new arrival!! All newborn sessions are done in the comfort and safety of your own home* We'll discuss a basic colour palette beforehand and I'll bring along a selection of wraps, baskets, props etc. This type of session cannot be rushed and I expect to be there for around 2-3 hours. I'll arrive 30 mins before, to set up and we will stop when necessary for feeding, cuddling burping....whatever!!
I'm fortunate enough to have newborn photography training from award winning NB photographers Erin Elizabeth and Kelly Brown, and continue to invest in training, to always improve my skills.
It is best to do these sessions within the first two weeks of birth.
NEWBORN LIFESTYLE SESSION
This session is also about the new arrival but without the wraps, props and posing but includes parent and sibling photos. Sessions are done in the comfort and safety of your own home*
As the title implies, this is a lifestyle session, so I'm there to capture the connection between the new arrival and immediate family. Can be done up to 3 months after giving birth.
FAMILY LIFESTYLE SESSION
Family portraits are such a wonderful investment. What is more important than documenting the life of your growing family. I want this to be as fun and laid back as possible. We will decide on the location beforehand, which can be in the comfort of your own home, the beach or local park* The decision depends on the weather and ages of children.
SITTER SESSION
This is an incredibly cute time as they are not yet mobile to run around but curious and full of fun!These sessions can be done as soon as your child is able to sit unsupported. Usually between 6-7 months is the best time. I'll sit your little one in a variety of props and baskets to capture this milestone in your child's first year. These sessions are best done in your own home, but outdoor location shoot is also possible, depending on the location*
PARTY TIME
You have sent the invitations, packed the party bags, got the cake etc, so now it's time to enjoy this special time with your little one and let me capture the day!! I'll be there like a fly on the wall to make sure you have a wonderful collection of images to remind you of this special time.
PET SESSION
If you adore your pet as much as I do mine, you've came to the right place. Wether you have a brand new puppy or an elderly pet, we will work together to capture authentic moments that celebrate their personality and reflect your unique bond.
